Summerlin's 25th school scheduled to open for 2010-2011 academic year Posted: 15 Aug 2009 02:01 AM PDT More than 20,000 students will soon make their way to one of Summerlin's 24 schools for the 2009-2010 school year. Summerlin offers 11 public and 13 private schools. Summerlin's 12th public school, West Career & Technical Academy, is scheduled to open in 2010, bringing the community's school count to 25. |
Las Vegas Home and Outdoor Super Show joins Energy Star as a sponsor Posted: 15 Aug 2009 02:01 AM PDT The 13th Annual Las Vegas Home and Outdoor Super Show, Sept. 18-20 at Cashman Convention Center, has joined Nevada Energy Star Partners as a gold sponsor. The newly expanded and renamed show will feature energy efficient products, in addition to all the latest in home improvement and décor alongside outdoor recreation and recreational vehicle technology. |
Newport Lofts to hold open house Posted: 15 Aug 2009 02:01 AM PDT According to James Byczek of Chartwell Group, sales agents at the Newport Lofts high-rise community have remained busy conducting tours of condominiums to be sold during auction Aug. 29, by Chartwell Group Accelerated Marketing Division, in cooperation with Auction One Las Vegas, Greg Harelson, Nevada broker and auctioneer. The 3 p.m. auction will be held at Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel, 3400 Paradise Road, with registration beginning at 2 p.m. |
