| Closing Escrow - One Open, One Uncancelled. Can I close?? Posted: 07 Jun 2012 04:26 PM PDT Hi. I'm trying to sell my home in a short sale and I have 2 escrows right now. The first escrow is from a buyer who refuses to sign the escrow cancellation papers. We were out of the contingency period, Buyer and Seller both did their respective duties, and the Bank pulled out their approval on the day of closing. Buyer is mad and trying to enforce the purchase agreement. I went into escrow with another buyer and the bank has accepted the amount. We opened escrow with a different title company and are crossing the T's and dotting the I's. Is it possible to close this second escrow without cancellation of the first? If I go ahead and sign the new escrow, what are the possible consequences to me without the previous buyer cancelling the second escrow? Thanks in advance.    | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
