Then our home prices and values dropped to prices from 1996? Now as a buyer in Las Vegas and surrounding areas today you can expect even more changes that seem to have come about almost overnight. We have a shortage of homes for sale compared to our number of buyers and with that being said you need to be prepared. Homes are being sold for over appraised value and with the buyer having to be willing to come out of pocket cash for the difference of the sales price about the appraisal amount. As long as the buyer not only understands this and are willing to make the additional sacrifice they are successfully getting the home they have chosen. As buyers that are choosing to wait for the "better deal" our inventory continues to drop everyday. |
