Q: The board of directors have recently solicited and received bids for grounds maintenance. The board would like to put our current maintenance company on notice that we will be selecting from the bidders to perform these services in the future and the company selected will begin on April 1. This may or may not be the current vendor. Our management company tells us that we can only make this decision to put the current vendor on notice at an open meeting. If this is true, can you cite the NRS section that is applicable?

Harmony offers homes to close by June 30

Homebuyers have until April 30 to purchase and until June 30 to close on their first home to receive up to an $8,000 tax credit. The average time for Harmony Homes to complete construction from contract to close of escrow on a home is 60 days. Qualifying homebuyers can buy a Harmony Home in March and, if qualified, take advantage of the tax credit. There are 10 Harmony Homes neighborhoods across the Las Vegas Valley with prices starting in the low $100,000s.

MacDonald Highlands to hold first auction today

Today the master-planned community of MacDonald Highlands will hold its first auction beginning at noon within the community at the private DragonRidge Clubhouse. Twenty custom lots will be auctioned off with prices starting at $300,000. In addition three estate homes, two specifically designed for showcasing development of hillside homes within MacDonald Highlands also will be auctioned.
