COMING WEEK...

NUMERICAL WEATHER MODELS ARE INDICATING A PROLONGED PERIOD OF RAIN
SETTING UP ACROSS THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN AND MOJAVE DESERT
STARTING MONDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUING INTO WEDNESDAY. THOUGH
THERE MAY BE SOME PLACEMENT UNCERTAINTY WITH THE EXACT LOCATION
OF THE GREATEST PRECIPITATION AXIS...THE LATEST MODEL DATA
INDICATES THAT THE GREATEST RAIN AMOUNTS WILL BE ACROSS EASTERN
CLARK AND SOUTHEAST LINCOLN COUNTIES IN SOUTHERN NEVADA AND MOHAVE
COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ARIZONA.

THIS PROLONGED PERIOD OF RAIN WILL LEAD TO WELL ABOVE NORMAL
FLOWS ON AREA RIVERS AND WASHES SUCH AS THE VIRGIN RIVER AND
MUDDY RIVER IN NORTHEAST CLARK COUNTY AS WELL AS THE MEADOW VALLEY
WASH IN LINCOLN AND NORTHEAST CLARK COUNTIES. MANY OF THE BASINS
IN MOHAVE COUNTY WILL EXPERIENCE ABOVE NORMAL FLOWS...SOME OF
WHICH INCLUDE THE BIG SANDY RIVER AND WILLOW CREEK IN THE
