A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR LINCOLN AND MOHAVE COUNTIES...THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF CLARK COUNTY...THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY...AND DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK FROM 10 AM PDT /10 AM MST/ THIS MORNING TO 8 PM PDT /8 PM MST/ THIS EVENING. STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP LATE THIS MORNING THEN BECOME NORTHWEST IN THE AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT SWEEPS ACROSS THE AREA. WINDS GUSTS BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED BEFORE WIND SPEEDS GRADUALLY DIMINISH THIS EVENING. AREAS OF BLOWING SAND AND DUST ARE LIKELY WITH THESE WINDS. STRONG WINDS IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH WILL CREATE DANGEROUS BOATING CONDITIONS ON AREA LAKES DURING THE ADVISORY PERIOD.
