A STRONG COLD FRONT DRAPED ACROSS OREGON AND IDAHO THIS EVENING WILL MOVE SOUTH INTO NORTHERN NEVADA BY LATE TUESDAY MORNING. THE FRONT WILL CONTINUE SOUTH ACROSS THE STATE UNABATED AND BE ON A LINE FROM NEAR BISHOP CALIFORNIA TO ELY NEVADA AROUND 4 PM TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE FRONT WILL PLOW THROUGH SOUTHERN NEVADA AND THE MOJAVE DESERT OF EASTERN CALIFORNIA AND NORTHWEST ARIZONA DURING THE MORNING HOURS OF WEDNESDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE SOME 15 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. HIGHS FOR THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF THE MOJAVE DESERT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 40S AND LOWER 50S. IN THE OWENS VALLEY AND SOUTH CENTRAL NEVADA HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 30S TO MID 40S...WHILE HIGHS AT MOUNT CHARLESTON WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 20S TO LOWER 30S.
