| Posted: 19 Jul 2010 08:12 AM PDT My mother in law has offered to purchase us a home, we will be living there paying all the bills etc. She lives on the east coast. Her intent is to help us get back on our feet and hopefully in 5 or 6 years sell the home for a nice gain. Long story short, we found a house we like, put an offer in and were told by the HOA that because they have a rental cap and since we wouldn't be on the deed we would be considered renters and would not be able buy the home. Does this sound right? Is there anything I can do? |
