Bank of America Short Sale Assistance Program

Bank of America announced that for a limited time, they are offering enhanced relocation assistance payments. The relocation assistance payment is calculated based on the appraised value of the home, but it can be between the minimum amount of $2,500 and the maximum amount of $30,000. This is an amazing offer to assist people entering in the Las Vegas short sales process to relocate. This enhanced relocation assistance is only available to short sale programs initiated without an offer. The relocation assistance money will be paid at closing and the remainder debt is forgiven.



This program offers a fantastic financial escape to homeowners experiencing financial hardship. Determining your eligibility is easy. These are trying times for homeowners. I am here to help you if you are looking for a way out of your current situation. In fact, the majority of Las Vegas homeowners are underwater, meaning the loan amount is more than the current market value of the home.

Have a 4 year old highly upgraded 3,000 sq. ft. single-story 3 br/3 bth home office that I have been trying to get rented for the past 6 weeks in the Silverado Ranch area. Even though we priced it competitively at $2100/mth, we've had multiple people almost expecting us to rent it out for $1200-$1500/mth. While we may be receptive to negotiating a bit, we are not willing to come down this much. What gives?

Las Vegas New home builders are raising prices for their "ready to move in home".

As the inventory of available homes in the Las Vegas area continues to decline, home builders are on the move to slash the incentives as well.

The demand for new homes is still something many Las Vegas home buyers want. Some make this choice only after they have spent time looking at Las Vegas bank owned homes or Las Vegas short sales and are tired of the multiple offers we are seeing here in Las Vegas.

New homes that are ready to move into within 2 months are flying off the market because of this, and most traditional re-sale homes in the Las Vegas-Henderson area are moving fast as well, (as long as they are priced well).

Appraisal issues will still continue to be an issue because even if you "up bid" the home, that doesn't mean the appraisal will come in at that price and if it doesn't, you may have to come up with the difference or risk loosing the home to the next buyer.
