Lawyers want to do a modification and collect $3000up front. I want to sue Washington Mutual for non disclosure and have all interested paid on the loan refunded. Then the prinicpal balance forgiven because of there Predatory Lending and Fraud. Any lawyers in Las Vegas that can do that. If your main area of business is personal injury, slip and fall, BK or Divorce i am not interested. Real Estate and Financing lawyers only.

Are pools, spas in HOAs considered public facilities?

Q: Why are we under the Southern Nevada Health District for permits for our swimming pools? These are not public facilities. They are homeowner facilities and should not be considered public.  How are we to afford the new statutes with the 911 emergency phones, drinking fountains and all the new rules?  The community I live in was built in 1978. Architecturally, we would have to do major renovation. How we get out from under the SNHD and maintain our properties as homeowners, not public facilities?

Unsettling economic news at the beginning of July caused some economists to fear a double-dip recession. The stock market sold off, pushing the Dow below 10,000. A weak employment report increased fears of a tepid jobs recovery. Manufacturing activity fell to its lowest level since December. The National Association of Realtors' pending home sale index (PHSI) dropped a record 30 percent in May -- almost 16 percent below its 2009 level.

Pardee executives earn green certification from NAHB

Rob Keune, a Pardee superintendent in Southern Nevada, has been designated a certified green professional as well as certified graduate builder by the National Association of Home Builders. He joins Rocky Cochran, vice president of Pardee construction operations in Las Vegas, who has held the CGB designation for 10 years.
