AND WERE MOVING NORTH NORTHEASTWARD AT 20 TO 30 MPH. THIS ACTIVITY
WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT NEIGHBORHOODS ACROSS THE VALLEY THROUGH
530 AM TODAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH
AT BEST. TRAVELERS ON ROADWAYS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR SLIPPERY SPOTS
DUE TO THE BUILD UP OF OIL AND DIRT FROM THE LACK OF RECENT RAIN.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM PDT FOR
EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY...

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN ENDED
AFTER 130 AM OVER THE AREA FROM LAUGHLIN TO THE BIG BEND RECREATION
AREA AND POINTS WEST. HOWEVER...AN AUTOMATED RAIN GAGE WEST OF
LAUGHLIN RECORDED 2.64 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 1030 PM SATURDAY
EVENING. ALTHOUGH NO DIRECT REPORTS OF FLOODING HAVE BEEN
RECEIVED...RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL HAS LIKELY CAUSED
ELEVATED WATER LEVELS IN WASHES AND COULD RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT
FLOODING IN SOME AREAS FROM LAUGHLIN TO BIG BEND UNTIL 3 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE

COUNTY INTO LINCOLN COUNTY. HOWEVER...RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAIN EARLIER
TONIGHT MAY STILL BE OCCURRING...THUS THE THREAT OF FLOODING IN THE
SHEEP RANGE CONTINUES TO EXIST.

NORTH CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEVADA...

* UNTIL 345 AM PDT

* AT 1239 AM PDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A BATCH OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING NORTHWARD AROUND 20 MPH ACROSS THE
SHEEP RANGE. THIS ACTIVITY WAS PRODUCING RAINFALL TOTALS OF A HALF
INCH TO INCH PER HOUR IN SOME CASES.

PORTIONS OF THE SHEEP RANGE SAW IN EXCESS OF A HALF AN INCH OF RAIN
ON SATURDAY EVENING. THIS RAIN WILL FALL OVER AREAS THAT ALREADY
JUST SAW HEAVY RAINFALL OCCUR WITHIN THE PAST 12 HOURS. AS A
RESULT...THE GROUND WILL BE SATURATED...AND RISES IN NORMALLY DRY
WASHES MAY TAKE PLACE QUICKER THAN WOULD NORMALLY BE EXPECTED.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...HAYFORD PEAK AND THE DESERT NATIONAL
WILDLIFE REFUGE.

AT 1125 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN. THIS STORM WAS
LOCATED NEAR THE BIG BEND RECREATION AREA AND WILL MOVE TO THE NORTH
ACROSS LAUGHLIN. THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL FOLLOW PREVIOUS STORMS THAT
HAVE PRODUCED AROUND 2 INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR JUST WEST OF LAUGHLIN.

THIS THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAIN WILL IMPACT LAUGHLIN AND STATE
ROUTE 163 WEST OF LAUGHLIN THROUGH MIDNIGHT. AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF
RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
