WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN OR ACCEPTED ON MY MULTIPLE OFFERS? HOW DOES IT WORK IF I WANT TO BACK OUT ON SOME OF THEM? WHAT ABOUT MY EARNEST MONEY?

Is it legal to put in offers on multiple listings?

I will be relocating to Vegas this summer, we are shooting for a close date of end of June...My partner lives there already & he had signed a buyers rep contract with an agent before I became a party to the loan (We have been prequalified) Together, he & the agent have decided to put in offers on multiple listings, thinking it will increase our odds of getting an offer accepted. I have a friend that doesnt think this is legal & that, once an offer is accepted, we run the risk of being legally bound to multiple properties. Whats the scoop?
