A Realtor advised me to make multiple offers in order to win something. But what will happen to my Earnest Deposit if I win 2 or three of them? Am I?

obligated to put the money into escrow? Do I need to do this before due diligence? How can I protect myself? I don't have EMD to put into all of them as my plan is really to win one. I have not signed contract yet with this Realtor. Anybody with experience? Please help

I will be relocating to Vegas this summer, we are shooting for a close date of end of June...My partner lives there already & he had signed a buyers rep contract with an agent before I became a party to the loan (We have been prequalified) Together, he & the agent have decided to put in offers on multiple listings, thinking it will increase our odds of getting an offer accepted. I have a friend that doesnt think this is legal & that, once an offer is accepted, we run the risk of being legally bound to multiple properties. Whats the scoop?
