Joseph announced Friday that he has entered a final cease and desist order against a Las Vegas real estate company for allegedly violating the securities registration provisions of the Colorado Securities Act in connection with the offer of securities in Colorado. |
Investors want to examine Las Vegas real estate company's books (Las Vegas Sun) Posted: 26 May 2009 11:43 AM PDT Real estate investors have filed an involuntary bankruptcy petition against a Las Vegas company and now want to examine its books and records. Court records Tuesday indicated Leading Investments Inc. has not yet responded to the petition. It has been ordered to do so by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and a June 3 status conference hearing is set on the petition. |

Why are houses so cheap in the Nellis AFB (89115) area? Posted: 31 May 2009 01:19 PM PDT Is it a rough area, or is there a high turnover because there are a lot of residents in the military? Also, if anyone can point me in the direction (zip would be helpful) of nice yet inexpensive areas of Las Vegas that would be very helpful. I am unfamiliar will all areas of LV but am considering a move and trying to get an idea of which areas besides Summerlin are nice (too pricey for me at the time.) |
Posted: 31 May 2009 11:52 AM PDT the title also, but the house was really her's. My mom paid the property tax, mortgage, interests, expenses, etc.. She also claimed all the tax deductions. I am married with 2 children and had lived with my mom in this house except for the past 8 months. I am in the process of buying a house with my wife. I can not remove my name from my mom's house mortgage docs. but will remove my name from my mom's house title (Grant Deed). Do my wife and I qualify for the first time home buyer's tax credit? We live in Las Vegas, NV. |
