AT 1046 PM PDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY AROUND 10 MPH. RAINFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF A HALF AN INCH ALREADY HAVE BEEN REPORTED BY SPOTTERS IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY. IN ADDITION...PONDING OF WATER IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS HAS ALSO BEEN REPORTED IN PARTS OF THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY INCLUDING DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS AND NEAR THE VICINITY OF GRAND TETON AND NORTH JONES. AS ADDITIONAL SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY CONTINUES TO MOVE ACROSS THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY THIS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE RUNOFF AND WATER FLOWING INTO WASHES. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
