im 20 years old and have 1.75 years of work under my arm. i make about 1200 a month and go to school full time. my uncle with perfect credit is willing to be my cosigner and live with me until i settle down and have my firends move in with me. i was wondering if i qualify for a mortage loan of $150000. do you think i qualify???

Anybody has experience with Pardee home? Safe and quite neighborhood close to Eastern and Harmon?

Hi! I just move into Las Vegas. I have been checking out different new model homes to get a feel. Anybody has experience with Pardee home. I will be working around Easter and Harmon and I prefer a quite and safe neighborhood with relatively new home with low maintenance. Any recommendation in regard of neighborhood I should look at. Thanks.

Fannie Mae wants 12% earnest money deposit on a REO. Is this standard for Fannie Mae offers?

I have bought several REOs from banks and made offers with 2 or 3% earnest money without problems. Now I am making an offer on a $250K home (cash) and Fannie Mae has countered with request for $30K earnest money (which is 12% of the asking price) along with my offer. Isn't 12% earnest money a bit high on a Fannie Mae REO? Has any other REO buyers encountered such earnest money requests and why would they ask for so much on an offer sheet?
